Running Across the Plains
1st Verse
Running across the Plains, Lives going down the drain,
The Great Wall is collapsing, Wise men caught napping.

Fires raging overhead, Thunderheads hit the Plains,
Lightning thrashes the trees, Blood running down our knees.

1st Chorus:
A prayer to the Spirit, That guides us all,
As we sprint at full gallop, Hearts heeding the call.

2nd Verse
Deer running scared through the forest,
Foxes and hounds on their heels,
The Bear, proud and fierce, The Wolf Pack in tears,
But our Will is made of steel.

Charging down the mesa, The clouds as low as our doom,
Our Kin beckon us onwards, There’s no such thing as too soon.

1st Chorus

3rd Verse
Running across the Plains, Our horses bellow and curse,
Fires closing in all around us, We steel ourselves for the worst.

Bursting through the flames, Letting our arrows fly,
The points of our spears are sharpened, The time for our return is nigh.

Full Chorus:
A prayer to the Spirit, That guides us all,
As we sprint at full gallop, Hearts heeding the call.

A prayer to the Spirit, Of all this Creation,
Upon heaven and earth, For the Indian Nation.

3rd Verse
