Agreements is likely one of the first full songs I ever wrote, going back to the late 80s timeframe. It was about a girl, of course, both one that I was dating, and one that I was interested in. But, I'm not a guy that cheats, so the latter had to wait, and when it finally came around to the time when I was free, our situations had changed.

I've always felt that breaking an agreement is a lot like turning something to stone - you've given your word, then broken your word, and now you've got to find a way to make up for it, either with the person in question, or if you can't, then maybe do right by someone else?
